Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake full day-to-day project management across complex projects or programs, including internal team management and participation in business development activities.
  • •Provide technical leadership for larger, more complex project and programme teams; lead groups of Project Managers and technical teams to deliver to scope, budget, time, and quality.
  • •Engage with project teams to confirm project approach and review deliverables; deliver inclusive communication with clients and team members.
  • •Monitor and track budgets for specific project tasks, ensure timely cash collection per contract terms, and obtain client approval for any additional work or scope changes.
  • •Manage project services and projects using APIC and other relevant systems; perform quality reviews/verification and ensure all deliverables comply with PDS and QA requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Between 12 and 15 years with an Honours degree in a built environment field of study and a minimum of 12 years’ relevant post-graduate experience; or alternative built-environment qualifications (B-Tech, National Higher Diploma, or National Diploma) with the stated minimum relevant post-graduate experience.
  • •A tertiary qualification in a Project Management-related field (e.g., procurement, quantity surveying, engineering, architecture, planning, contracting) with a minimum of 13 years’ relevant post-graduate experience.
  • •Registration as PrCPM with SACPCMP (PrCPM), OR certification as PMP / PgMP / PfMP / PMI-SP / PMI-ACP with PMI.
  • •Provide technically sound project management to deliver within scope, budget, time, and quality standards.
  • •Apply project delivery procedures and ensure compliance with contract terms, QA requirements, and client-approved changes to scope.
