Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in developing the company’s strategic plan, accounting for industry dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and customer dynamics.
  • •Support strategy formulation, strategy execution, and strategic initiatives including identifying and evaluating target markets/companies.
  • •Assimilate competitive intelligence on suppliers, competitors, and customers to inform the strategic plan.
  • •Lead analyses such as competitive, value chain, scenario/risk, optimization/efficiency, and capital allocation/portfolio analysis.
  • •Drive progress of strategic plans and programs against organizational goals using metrics, and prepare/present strategic analyses; support corporate development activities as needed for M&A diligence/execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s preferred) in chemical engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • •5+ years in strategic planning and strategy development, such as experience with strategy consultancy.
  • •Superior financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • •Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • •Experience analyzing chemicals or broader process industries is preferred.
