Key Responsibilities

  • •Cure all products in tumbler systems, including loading/unloading tumblers and understanding cycle times for non-pumped product.
  • •Perform daily prechecks and keep the tow motor clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
  • •Formulate brines using a hand-held calculator and/or computer, and operate the brine transfer system.
  • •Read a salometer to differentiate brines with versus without curing agents and handle them properly.
  • •Set up, tear down, operate and adjust equipment (speeds/pressure) to ensure proper gains; correct routine curing/tumbling problems and maintain GMP/SQF/Safety compliance while completing required paperwork and SAP functions.
