Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations.
  • •Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences and provide one-on-one counseling and consultation as needed.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials and coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years of experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
