Job Summary

Maintain the grounds and yard surrounding the facility with minimal supervision, ensuring landscaping and exterior areas stay well cared for. Perform tasks such as mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, sweeping/clearing sidewalks, painting, lightbulb replacement, and other minor structural repairs. Work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations while following safety and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure grounds and yard surrounding the facility are well maintained under minimal supervision.
•Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, and pruning to keep plants, shrubs, and trees healthy.
•Handle minor exterior maintenance including sweeping/clearing sidewalks, painting, lightbulb replacement, and other minor structural repairs.
•Assist others when requested with repair and maintenance of grounds and facility.
•Work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
•Previous experience in landscaping is a plus.
•Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
•Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
•Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
