Key Responsibilities

  • •Build automation to replace manual review work, including policy-as-code, auto-remediation, and CSPM policy authorship.
  • •Lead deep technical reviews on GCP/Azure architecture (multi-tenant isolation, IAM, network segmentation) and turn findings into reusable guardrails.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Corporate Security, and Engineering teams to design and implement cloud security solutions.
  • •Own and manage the security tools used to secure Egnyte’s multi-cloud environments.
  • •Mature cloud incident response through improved detection coverage, runbooks, and blast-radius limiting controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated impact at senior IC level in cloud engineering with hands-on cloud security ownership (GCP-primary).
  • •Experience leading technical security reviews and shaping secure-by-design patterns adopted by other engineering teams.
  • •Ability to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines using scripting and Policy as Code frameworks to automate infrastructure hardening.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills, including providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers.
  • •Strong Linux administration knowledge and experience securing managed Kubernetes clusters, including traffic management via WAF and load balancing.
