Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and delivery of reliable Java microservices for finance core and finance core reconciliation, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability.
•Define and enforce engineering standards, acting as the technical bar-raiser for the group.
•Audit, maintain, and improve existing repositories
•Drive automation to reduce manual reviews and errors (e.g., rules engines, validations, alerts, auto-reconciliation flows) and continuously optimize workflows.
•Mentor teammates via code/design reviews and knowledge-sharing, elevating domain and engineering maturity across the team

Key Requirements

•Proven hands-on Software Development experience in Java SE and using frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot. At least 7 years of experience
•Experience working with microservice architectures
•Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns and Java SE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.)
•Good knowledge of Relational and Non-relational Databases
•Experience with Cloud Providers such as AWS (preferred) or GCP
