Job Summary

Serve as a Credit Reviewer Vice President within Internal Audit’s Credit Review group (IADCR), supporting the Credit Review Partner with independent assurance over obligor grading and credit review processes. Conduct continuous and branch credit reviews, review complex/structured financing cases (e.g., project, shipping, aircraft, leveraged finance), collaborate with Front Office, and present findings/recommendations. Lead credit review processes and contribute to audit initiatives across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Credit Review Partner by providing assurance that obligor grading/category is appropriate and bank procedures are followed.
•Conduct initial and full file credit reviews of assigned applications, including accuracy of obligor/facility grades and borrower categories.
•Raise questions and discuss issues found with Front Office to complete reviews, then agree findings and recommendations with the Credit Review Partner.
•Submit reviews for approval, including draft recommendations/findings, and follow up to close recommendations raised.
•Lead branch credit review processes and participate in IADIA on-site as SME for credit; perform ad-hoc tasks such as Self-Assessment Classification Review or DCF Review.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 80,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Proven credit analysis and credit risk management experience within major EU or international banks.
•Strong understanding of credit risk, including complex financing and structured finance (Project Finance, Shipping, Aircraft Finance, or Leveraged Finance).
•Thorough attention to detail when reviewing, documenting work, interpreting findings, and identifying trends.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to complete reviews, prepare reports, document findings, and liaise with key stakeholders.
•Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, FRM); proficient IT and fluent English (German is a plus).
