Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead root cause compliance investigations for global, systemic issues and support corrective action planning
  • •Analyze data to identify operational inefficiencies, validate compliance findings, and support monitoring for corrective action success
  • •Ensure FAA correspondence meets established standards and manage the correspondence process in ETQ
  • •Track completion of regulatory corrective actions and serve as a liaison with the FAA and other regulatory agencies
  • •Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory issues and interface with regulators; provide support to AA Legal when necessary

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience and/or training
  • •Equivalent experience/training in just culture principles, root cause investigations, and Safety Management System (SMS)
  • •Broad airline operational and/or airworthiness experience/knowledge
  • •Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
  • •Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing across all organizational levels
