Job Summary

Lead and represent the India Alliances sourcing portfolio, acting as the primary interface across cross-functional teams and external partners. Own supplier relationship management for the India-based landscape, driving supplier identification, evaluation, selection, development, and performance. Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve cost, service, quality, sustainability, and innovation outcomes while building market intelligence and supporting global category strategy evolution.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and represent the India Alliances Sourcing Portfolio and support Intermediates Category Sourcing.
•Own supplier relationship management: identify, evaluate, select, develop, and steer key partners.
•Drive value creation with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance across cost, service, quality, sustainability, and innovation.
•Develop and communicate market intelligence to influence decision-making and guide category strategies.
•Manage and execute procurement initiatives and be accountable for Budget and Last Estimates reporting.

Key Requirements

•BSc degree in a relevant expertise area (MSc preferred).
•10 years+ experience in Procurement and/or category management or related commercial functions.
•Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills in a matrix environment.
•Thorough negotiation and influencing skills, with experience preparing and leading fact-based negotiations, supplier selection, and contracting.
•Fluent English (C1); experience in Chemicals / Flavors and Fragrance materials is an asset.
