Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a user-facing surface end to end, from interaction and design through frontend, application logic, APIs, data models, and search/model calls.
  • •Continuously ship improvements to production; new engineers typically reach user-facing code quickly.
  • •Use AI (agents and coding models) as a primary tool to move faster, with sound judgment about when outputs are wrong.
  • •Turn ambiguous product ideas into working prototypes, then use usage data and evals to decide what to keep.
  • •Raise reliability, latency, and craft for the surfaces you own while working closely with designers, PMs, and research engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of professional software engineering experience, or strong internships where you shipped production code at scale.
  • •Strong in at least one backend language such as Python or Go, with experience across services, APIs, and relational data modeling.
  • •Comfortable working in React and TypeScript on the frontend.
  • •Demonstrated building experience (e.g., production work you understand deeply, shipped side projects, meaningful open-source, hackathon wins, or research turned into software).
