Job Summary

Develop hands-on AI/ML and agent-based solutions for power-plant operations, enabling intelligent control logic, diagnostic analytics, and decision-support. Build AI agents that automate engineering workflows, analyze time-series data from DCS/SCADA (preferably Ovation), and deploy AI outputs into dashboards and alerts. Collaborate with plant engineers, reliability, and software teams to validate insights and ensure safe, reliable real-world deployment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and deploy AI/ML models and agent-based solutions to support engineering workflows and decision-making in real power-plant environments.
•Design, implement, validate, and monitor AI agents that automate control logic generation, graphics configuration, reporting, and engineering workflows.
•Analyze plant data (DCS/SCADA time-series) to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for predictive maintenance or performance optimization.
•Collaborate with sales, reliability, and software teams to validate AI insights against real plant conditions and ensure safe integration.
•Triage and tune AI/analytics models using Python and data tools, focusing on practical application rather than algorithm research.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Control Engineering (or equivalent plant experience).
•Hands-on experience in power-plant operations, control systems, or industrial automation (DCS/SCADA exposure required; Emerson Ovation preferred).
•Strong understanding of plant processes (boiler, turbine, balance-of-plant, heat rate, alarms, trips).
•Instrumentation, control loops, and operational troubleshooting.
•Historian/time-series operational data; basic programming or data skills (Python, SQL) to work with analytics and AI teams.
