Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop RTL logic design and register-transfer-level coding for CPU components including cell libraries, functional units, and CPU IP blocks.
  • •Contribute to defining architecture and microarchitecture features to optimize CPU performance, power, and area.
  • •Write and refine RTL to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals while maintaining design integrity for physical implementation.
  • •Review verification plans and tests, resolve failing RTL tests, and implement corrective measures to match design specifications.
  • •Document microarchitectural specifications (MAS) and support SoC customers with integration of CPU blocks into larger designs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a relevant STEM degree.
  • •At least 3+ months of experience (via coursework or internship) in CPU Logic Design.
  • •At least 3+ months of experience (via coursework or internship) in Computer Architecture and/or Microprocessors.
  • •Experience with digital design and/or RTL coding plus Verilog/SystemVerilog and/or VHDL.
  • •Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
