Key Responsibilities

•Source and lock powered land and brownfield sites that support hundreds of megawatts to gigawatts ahead of the build pipeline.
•Negotiate land purchase, lease, and option agreements with landowners, developers, and utilities aligned or out of alignment with the company’s timeline.
•Perform power and deliverability diligence including power availability, interconnection queue position, substation proximity, and timeline risk before advancing past LOI.
•Build and manage a pipeline of powered-land opportunities across multiple regions, rapidly killing weak sites that don’t pencil.
•Hand off secured sites to development and construction with clean title and complete diligence to prevent mobilization stalls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 240,000 - 286,000 annually

•Have personally sourced and closed land or site acquisitions where power availability was a key constraint to the deal outcome.
•Negotiate purchase, lease, and option agreements directly with landowners, developers, and utilities.
•Read and interpret interconnection queue information, utility capacity maps, or substation studies to assess power feasibility and timing.
•Run end-to-end land diligence across title, zoning, environmental factors, and the power path, catching issues before they derail the deal after signing.
•Manage a multi-site acquisition pipeline and walk away from deals that don’t pencil without over-investing time into weak opportunities.
