Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and scope high-impact opportunities to tackle financial crime and fraud with machine learning in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • •Design and develop advanced real-time ML models, exploring neural network, graph-based, and sequence-based architectures.
  • •Provide technical leadership across the ML discipline by setting best practices, mentoring, and leading by example.
  • •Work with cross-functional product squads (product managers, data scientists, backend engineers, designers) in an agile environment.
  • •Partner with the MLOps team to steer tools and improve rapid iteration and the end-to-end ML model lifecycle.

Salary: GBP 115,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Multiple years track record leading development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to solve real business problems, ideally in a fast-moving tech company.
  • •Experience developing and shipping deep learning, graph-based, and/or sequence-based ML architectures to production with delivered business impact.
  • •Extensive production Python development and strong SQL skills; comfortable learning Go as used in backend microservices.
  • •Strong impact mindset to own end-to-end ML work from business problem to measurable production outcomes.
