Key Responsibilities

  • •Support senior/lead engineers in electrical design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects.
  • •Produce power supply capacity assessments and load calculations, electrical single-line and cable block diagrams, cable calculations, and cable schedules.
  • •Create lighting design specifications and support MCC/control panel specifications including Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) scopes.
  • •Prepare electrical specification documents and provide timely reporting to clients and internal team leads.
  • •Use digital design tools (including BIM, ProjectWise, and intelligent P&IDs) and liaise with internal/external design teams, clients, and contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •MEng in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above, or equivalent) would be preferred.
  • •Relevant work experience would be an advantage.
  • •Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills.
  • •Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications such as Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (e.g., via IET).
