Job Summary

Develop new business by evaluating client needs, underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial loans, while maintaining and servicing an existing loan portfolio. Represent the bank in the local community through networking, community involvement, and marketing of bank products. Build call lists, conduct warm and cold prospect outreach, and analyze financial data to support underwriting and risk decisions, including preparing loan memos and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop new business by evaluating client needs, underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial loans.
•Maintain and service an existing portfolio, providing ongoing relationship servicing to maintain goodwill and generate additional business.
•Promote and cross-sell bank products and services based on client requirements.
•Conduct networking and community outreach, including community events and Chamber of Commerce meetings, and run warm and cold prospect calls to meet call goals.
•Gather and analyze financial data, assist with loan memos and documents for approval, ensure loan documentation accuracy, and oversee timely closing and funding.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of banking or financial services experience.
•Experience working directly with customers at all levels, from support staff to business owners and managers.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience interacting with decision makers and influencers.
•Ability to prepare and coordinate proposals and work through the underwriting process productively.
•Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to stay organized and multitask.
