Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily FIB/TEM operations and demonstrations from wafer receiving through sample-to-data completion.
  • •Develop templates and recipes to automate TEM sample preparation and TEM analysis across NAND technology nodes.
  • •Create and validate in-house architectural scripts for automatic TEM data collection, processing, and reporting.
  • •Apply data science on tool parameters and TEM images/data to optimize recipes and provide feedback to process teams.
  • •Drive the automation roadmap by collaborating with instrument vendors and internal TD and manufacturing teams.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • •Extensive experience automating FIB/TEM with machine learning, pattern recognition, and scripting (Python and DigitalMicrograph).
  • •Extensive experience with TEM materials characterization, including EDS and EELS applications.
  • •Strong problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • •Excellent knowledge of thermodynamics, kinetics, crystallography, ion and electron diffraction, and chemical analysis.
