Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent the firm in arbitration and other adversarial proceedings, directly and with outside counsel.
  • •Coordinate with outside counsel on court actions involving the firm.
  • •Represent firm employees in third-party proceedings and advise employees on pre-litigation matters.
  • •Draft agreements, disclosures, account documentation, and website materials.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7 years of post-J.D. experience as a litigator at a law firm, financial services regulatory agency, exchange, broker-dealer or FCM.
  • •Prefer “on-your-feet” experience in court or arbitration proceedings.
  • •Prefer familiarity with securities, futures and broker-dealer issues.
  • •Member in good standing of the bar of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
  • •Comfort and fluency with computers and technology, including investigating legal issues related to the trading platform, with facility with AI tools.
