Job Summary

Support customers with on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex semiconductor equipment throughout its lifecycle. Partner with customers and R&D to develop leading-edge process recipes for advanced chips, including designing experiments (DOE), analyzing statistical data, and compiling high-level technical reports. Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate with internal stakeholders while building trust and supporting junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems and equipment.
•Work with customers to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips.
•Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; compile reports with high-level conclusions.
•Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues.
•Communicate with internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals and may serve as a liaison between the customer and the business unit, supporting junior colleagues.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
•Few years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry; new college graduates encouraged.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus among stakeholders.
•Communication proficiency in English.
•Ability to provide on-site customer support and work effectively with customers and internal teams.
