Key Responsibilities

  • •Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles to support rapid and reliable rocket reuse, integration, and launch.
  • •Develop and execute checkout and integration procedures for new and flight-proven rockets and ground support equipment.
  • •Assist with and lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of vehicle assemblies.
  • •Lead critical on-site operations and collaborate with engineers to resolve off-nominal test results and ensure flight readiness.
  • •Identify high-risk processes, lead root-cause/corrective action investigations, and manage work orders and non-conformances into actionable improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems in design, manufacturing, or implementation (class projects and/or internship experience qualifies).
  • •Advanced degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer engineering (preferred).
  • •Experience writing test plans and test procedures.
  • •Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base.
