Job Summary

Process and integrate Falcon 9 flight vehicles to support rapid, reliable rocket reuse, checkout, and launch. Develop and execute procedures for new and flight-proven hardware, lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing, and run critical on-site operations. Partner with engineering teams and field technicians to resolve off-nominal results, identify high-risk processes, drive root-cause corrective actions, and continuously improve manufacturing assembly procedures and non-conformance workflows.

•Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles to support rapid and reliable rocket reuse, integration, and launch.
•Develop and execute checkout and integration procedures for new and flight-proven rockets and ground support equipment.
•Assist with and lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of vehicle assemblies.
•Lead critical on-site operations and collaborate with engineers to resolve off-nominal test results and ensure flight readiness.
•Identify high-risk processes, lead root-cause/corrective action investigations, and manage work orders and non-conformances into actionable improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
•1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems in design, manufacturing, or implementation (class projects and/or internship experience qualifies).
•Advanced degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer engineering (preferred).
•Experience writing test plans and test procedures.
•Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base.
