Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage inventory stock levels/Days on Hand through continuous improvement, analysis, and planning with satellite operations and engineering teams.
  • •Build supplier and carrier relationships to maintain service levels and negotiate service, price, and delivery where possible.
  • •Examine open purchase orders daily, resolve related issues to ensure timely receipt, and conduct root-cause investigations using A3 and Kaizen.
  • •Enter material orders, invoices, and interunit orders into the Vista system and AS400; manage orders daily to ensure end product is built and shipped.
  • •Coordinate daily inventory activities (adjustments, stock checks, Kanban changes/charge-outs) and run excess/obsolete inventory processes with finance to reduce E&O and surplus.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED with 2 years applicable experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
  • •2 years applicable experience within supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
  • •Minimum 1 year of work experience (includes internships and co-ops).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business degree with supply chain emphasis.
  • •CPIM certification and experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably Oracle, AS400, MAPICS and Vista) and Kanban systems.
