Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare reconciliations for multiple lines of business with varying degrees of difficulty.
  • •Research and resolve exceptions using system-generated reports and documented procedures.
  • •Review entries to assess risk, fraud, and potential loss, and communicate questionable findings with department leads and managers.
  • •Coordinate with business partners to resolve outstanding items and balancing issues.
  • •Convey reconciliation and process information during audits to internal and external auditors, and assist with training plans for new employees.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree related to accounting and 2+ years’ experience in a financial services industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to research and resolve exceptions using system-generated reports and documented procedures.
  • •Ability to reconcile multiple general ledgers and DDA accounts with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • •Ability to collaborate with business partners to resolve outstanding balancing and reconciliation items.
  • •Bonus: 3+ years of experience in financial accounting services and experience with PeopleSoft, Hogan, or Excel.
