Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive financial results by meeting production metrics and ensuring high-quality Balance Sheet Committee submissions.
  • •Recruit, develop, manage, and retain Relationship Managers, Associates, and Analysts to maximize team performance.
  • •Identify and prioritize prospect and client relationships; build and maintain a strategic client acquisition pipeline and source prospects in person.
  • •Join client/prospect calls and support the team throughout the deal lifecycle through closure, including negotiating and solving deal issues.
  • •Screen deals, oversee credit reviews, and assess deal credit worthiness while managing risk/return and credit, regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • •Minimum 10 years of commercial banking experience, including credit analysis and/or portfolio management for middle market and corporate clients.
  • •Experience leading and managing a team in a sales environment with goaled production metrics.
  • •Formal Credit Training (Commercial Credit Certification or equivalent) or commensurate underwriting experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of banking products/services and financial acumen to assess and deliver on client needs.
