Job Summary

Lead a Commercial Banking middle-market team to drive new relationships, loan fundings, deposits, and Commercial Card spend for companies with $25M–$300M in revenue. Manage and develop Relationship Managers, Associates, and Analysts, build a strategic client acquisition pipeline, and support deal execution through closure. Oversee credit reviews, monitor performance metrics and routines, collaborate with partners across the bank, and manage regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risk.

•Drive financial results by meeting production metrics and ensuring high-quality Balance Sheet Committee submissions.
•Recruit, develop, manage, and retain Relationship Managers, Associates, and Analysts to maximize team performance.
•Identify and prioritize prospect and client relationships; build and maintain a strategic client acquisition pipeline and source prospects in person.
•Join client/prospect calls and support the team throughout the deal lifecycle through closure, including negotiating and solving deal issues.
•Screen deals, oversee credit reviews, and assess deal credit worthiness while managing risk/return and credit, regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).

•Experience leading and managing a team in a sales environment with goaled production metrics.
•Formal Credit Training (Commercial Credit Certification or equivalent) or commensurate underwriting experience.
•Strong knowledge of banking products/services and financial acumen to assess and deliver on client needs.
