Job Summary

Senior Staff Controls Engineer, Platform responsible for defining and governance of Crusoe's control systems software and data architecture. Leads telemetry evolution, IaC standards, and deployment blueprints to scale high-availability AI infrastructure across enterprise. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors to establish enterprise-wide technical strategy, templates, and documentation from a Denver-based base.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the enterprise scaling plan and compute deployment strategy for all facility control systems and servers, serving as the primary architect and governance authority.
•Architect and develop Crusoe's global controls strategy in collaboration with technical peers and enterprise partners, acting as a defining technical authority.
•Maintain and govern git repositories and enterprise templates for Ignition UDT primitives and Infrastructure as Code solutions to ensure consistency and quality.
•Develop and own a comprehensive documentation strategy to enable ongoing maintenance, seamless operations, and rapid enterprise scaling.
•Coordinate with the broader controls team to ensure compliance and standardization across greenfield projects and campus build-outs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 205,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of hands-on experience in complex engineering or critical infrastructure environments
•Subject Matter Expert in at least two of Ignition infrastructure, DevOps practices, or containerization/orchestration technologies
•Proven ability to rapidly master emerging enterprise tech stacks across Ignition, DevOps, and containerization
•Direct professional experience in data centers or similar mission-critical environments (e.g., Oil & Gas, semiconductor manufacturing, energy generation)
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline
