Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general laboring duties on a road construction project on a heavy highway crew or on a production crew.
  • •Assist with shoveling, raking, moving materials, and maintaining good housekeeping.
  • •Support traffic control activities as needed on the project.
  • •Set, strip, clean, and help with concrete forms; pour concrete and vibrate as required.
  • •Use asphalt and equipment operating skills to support construction work (where applicable).

Key Requirements

  • •Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical activities (walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel) while passing required physical examination.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplication).
  • •Prior construction experience is preferred.
  • •Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
