Perform general labor on a heavy highway/road construction crew or on a production crew. Key Responsibilities

•Perform general laboring duties on a road construction project on a heavy highway crew or on a production crew.
•Assist with shoveling, raking, moving materials, and maintaining good housekeeping.
•Support traffic control activities as needed on the project.
•Set, strip, clean, and help with concrete forms; pour concrete and vibrate as required.
•Use asphalt and equipment operating skills to support construction work (where applicable).

Key Requirements

•Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical activities (walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel) while passing required physical examination.
•Demonstrate knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplication).
•Prior construction experience is preferred.
•Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
