Job Summary

Drive strategic supply network development and cost management for product hardware across its lifecycle. Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing) to run supplier selection, early supplier engagement, and should-cost work. Lead NPI component procurement and CAPEX management, perform value-stream mapping and BOM risk assessments, and ensure vendor qualifications ahead of production to scale with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
•Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (concept scoping, trade tables, should-cost/clean sheet models, and SOW-based joint design).
•Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
•Lead NPI component procurement (on-time and correct) and manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
•Perform value-stream mapping, BOM risk assessments (including alternate component sourcing), drive vendor component qualifications, and lead cost engineering/TCO optimization, including cost issues such as tariffs and cost inflation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in sourcing and ideally in design/development of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
•Experience leading advanced sourcing activities, including work as a commodity/sourcing manager.
•Supplier development and early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirement realization.
•Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical degree preferred; U.S. Person status required for access to export controlled data.
