Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (concept scoping, trade tables, should-cost/clean sheet models, and SOW-based joint design).
  • •Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
  • •Lead NPI component procurement (on-time and correct) and manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
  • •Perform value-stream mapping, BOM risk assessments (including alternate component sourcing), drive vendor component qualifications, and lead cost engineering/TCO optimization, including cost issues such as tariffs and cost inflation.

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in sourcing and ideally in design/development of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Experience leading advanced sourcing activities, including work as a commodity/sourcing manager.
  • •Supplier development and early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirement realization.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical degree preferred; U.S. Person status required for access to export controlled data.
