Grow and retain merchant relationships for Key’s Consumer Business Banking by prospecting and advising small and medium-sized businesses on the right payment solutions. Present and sell merchant payment processing (credit card, check processing, gift cards, and ACH), along with related hardware and software. Identify additional banking needs, resolve client issues, and partner across teams to deliver profitable, client-satisfaction-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Acquire new merchant services relationships through prospecting and referrals within the assigned territory and segments.
•Consult with prospective businesses to identify payment solutions and present/sell merchant processing and related hardware and software.
•Identify merchants’ other banking needs and coordinate with KeyBank resources to deliver solutions.
•Prospect small and medium-sized businesses in the assigned region to supplement bank referrals.
•Resolve client issues and ensure compliance with KeyBank policies and ethical standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 48,000 - 72,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required).
•Minimum 1 year of payments-related experience in a banking environment (required).
•Minimum 1 year of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive growth and service goals (required).
•Strong financial acumen, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
•Exceptional negotiating and closing skills, with strong communication abilities.
