Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement strategy for engaging telecom carriers, deepening existing relationships and adding new partners across the US, North America, and internationally.
  • •Negotiate carrier agreements that enable network access, provide sufficient data connectivity, and support sustainable business partnerships.
  • •Advocate for customers’ in-flight data connectivity and create simple connectivity options from first boot of the drone.
  • •Build and validate business models for in-flight data access by monitoring usage and costs.
  • •Set telecom carrier certification and regulatory priorities and support field relationships and major incidents.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 230,000 - 285,000 annually

  • •Demonstrated track record translating customer needs into priorities and driving implementation across complex efforts.
  • •Experience breaking down complex, multi-part processes into meaningful steps and communicating progress across Skydio and partner organizations.
  • •Strong analytical skills to develop plans, manage multiple overlapping projects and deadlines, and execute them effectively.
  • •Technical background with an engineering or technical degree (e.g., computer science, telecommunications, or a scientific field) and/or experience managing complex technical requirements.
  • •Interest or experience in wireless communication and familiarity with network operations concepts such as bit rates and quality of service.
