Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor the crude condensate splitter unit, adjusting process parameters to meet quality and production targets while optimizing performance.
  • •Maintain compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and site EHS requirements, including adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • •Use SCADA and Yokogawa DCS systems to monitor parameters, respond to alarms, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot control/process problems.
  • •Record operational data (temperature, pressure, flow, and composition) and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • •Serve as a first responder to abnormal operating conditions and follow emergency response procedures; coordinate with maintenance and provide support for incident investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Process Technology (or related) preferred.
  • •3+ years of refinery or petrochemical operations experience, ideally with a crude condensate splitter unit or similar.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA PSM regulations; emergency response certification and HAZWOPER training preferred; must maintain a valid state driver’s license.
  • •Proficiency with DCS/SCADA control systems, with capability to analyze process data for troubleshooting.
  • •Ability to work 12-hour rotational shifts (including nights), handle physically demanding tasks, and meet emergency response/respiratory fitness requirements for SCBA use.
