Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV transmission line projects, overseeing design, budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, risk contingencies, performance, and contractual obligations.
  • •Develop strategies to engage stakeholders, maintain effective relationships, and report project progress.
  • •Support pursuit/initiation activities, including Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews.
  • •At times lead contract negotiations and client presentations; drive technical reviews and ensure adherence to the QA/QC plan.
  • •Manage and provide performance guidance to assigned staff, maintain project documentation (e.g., risk, PMP, quality, safety, communications), and lead kickoff/closeout and lessons-learned activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field within the Power & Energy market.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility industry.
  • •Minimum of 7 years applicable industry experience working and/or providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
  • •Minimum of 5 years leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for high voltage/extra high voltage transmission line projects.
  • •Knowledge of project management processes and tools including contract management, earned value management, change/risk management, and schedule management (CPM such as Primavera P6).
