Key Responsibilities

  • •Own financial accounting activities including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting.
  • •Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage cash management and cash flow forecasting.
  • •Handle fixed asset accounting and US GAAP lease accounting for the entities.
  • •Support statutory compliance and reporting, coordinating with third-party advisors on tax authority inquiries and tax audits.
  • •Coordinate monthly payroll with a third-party payroll provider and partner with global teams (accounts payable, treasury purchasing, facilities) to support local operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • •Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
  • •Fluency in Portuguese and demonstrated proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new accounting processes and applications.
