Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop engineering skills through a structured, rotational two-year internship program with periodic training and mentorship.
  • •Support New Product Development and related engineering analyses (including FMEA/DFMEA) as assigned.
  • •For the Industrial Design track, assist with circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout using industry-standard tools.
  • •Perform bench testing, measurement, debugging, and execute test plans for prototypes, components, and subsystems under supervision.
  • •Document test results, design changes, and engineering observations; collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, firmware, and manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 22.5 - 27 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •In-person work at the Hampton, NJ Engineering Facility (relocation stipend considered).
  • •Pursuing a BS/BA in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Design, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, and/or Computer Science, with a 3.5+ GPA at application.
  • •Ability to remain in the IR PTL Engineering Future Force program for 2 internship terms (Junior and Senior year) for a minimum of 3 months.
  • •Resilient and able to quickly adapt and learn, regularly seeking and applying new information.
  • •Demonstrated leadership (e.g., school club officer/captain/resident advisor) or exceptional leadership of work projects; remain geographically flexible.
