Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform survey field work in a leading role, either independently or while mentoring Jr Party Chiefs and Instrument Operators.
  • •Interact daily with office staff and management team.
  • •Execute surveys across multiple sectors (commercial, transportation, environmental, industrial, institutional, energy) and prepare field notes and sketches.
  • •Download daily survey field data and provide reports and summaries for field work as needed.
  • •Represent WSP professionally with clients and the public in the field, adhering to safety and ethical policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (ideal candidates have higher education in land surveying or an associated field).
  • •5+ years of experience in land surveying and geospatial services (or an associated field).
  • •Advanced knowledge of survey equipment, practices, and procedures.
  • •Ability to mentor Jr Party Chiefs and instrument operators while continuing to learn.
  • •Valid state driver’s license and successful completion of WSP’s Motor Vehicle and Background screening.
