Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards and document exterior and interior condition.
  • •Verify vehicle identification and details (VINs, mileage, sub-series, options) and ensure accurate system entry.
  • •Perform basic mechanical checks and identify damage, missing components, or inoperable features.
  • •Build trust with dealer clients, educate them on Manheim Marketplace/mobile inspections, and manage daily appointments across the territory.
  • •Prepare daily activity/production reports using Salesforce.com and collaborate with Wholesale Specialists and other teams while following safety and NAAA policy standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required for Level 1; Level 2 requires high school diploma/GED plus 3+ years of related experience; Senior Level requires high school diploma/GED plus 5 years and previous vehicle inspection experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
  • •Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical) required for Senior Level; Level 1 prefers minimal automotive knowledge and Level 2 prefers 1–2 years automotive experience.
  • •Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.
  • •Ability to work remotely but live in the specified city, state, or region; must clear a pre-employment drug test.
