Key Responsibilities

  • •Own sourcing for electronics and interconnect categories, including wire harnesses, connectors, PCBs, PCBAs, and electrical components.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers via RFQs, commercial negotiations, supplier selection, and contract awards.
  • •Develop and maintain sourcing strategies (supply base mapping, dual-source planning, localization, cost optimization, lead-time reduction).
  • •Run end-to-end purchase order activities in NetSuite, including requisition review, PO creation, flow-downs, supplier acknowledgements, expediting, and delivery tracking.
  • •Coordinate FAI and supplier qualification with Engineering and Quality and maintain audit-ready procurement records aligned to AS9100 requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •3–6 years of procurement experience in manufacturing/industrial environments, including hands-on tactical buying, purchase order management, expediting, and supplier follow-up.
  • •Experience sourcing electronics and interconnect categories (wire harnesses, connectors, PCBs/PCBAs, cable/harnesses, electro-mechanical components) or the technical aptitude to develop quickly.
  • •Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI), counterfeit-part prevention, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and material traceability requirements.
  • •Ability to manage high-volume tactical procurement while balancing strategic sourcing responsibilities.
  • •Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, for procurement and supplier management.
