  • •Provide technical oversight and perform technical tasks for planning, feasibility, design, and construction projects focused on microgrids and BESS.
  • •Interface with clients to identify project needs, communicate engineering solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
  • •Coordinate interdisciplinary technical leads and internal resources, including third parties/subcontractors, for successful technical execution.
  • •Develop cost estimates to determine ROI and write technical reports communicating findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • •Lead and support development of technical proposals; train others and assist in recruiting/building a team; occasional U.S. travel required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 8 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Microgrid design and architecture experience, including knowledge of energy storage systems.
  • •Knowledge of microgrid controls advancements and up-to-date regulatory/legislative aspects of microgrid deployment.
  • •Knowledge of renewable technologies and components of microgrids and energy storage, including single line diagrams.
  • •Experience using microgrid/renewables software such as Homer PRO and Helioscope, and ability to develop detailed design documents.
