Job Summary

Own the product strategy and roadmap for Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), an open source observability platform for databases. Partner with engineering, design, product leadership, customers, and the open source community to validate ideas, translate customer problems into prioritized requirements, and define success metrics using telemetry and usage data. Represent PMM through conferences and community engagement while helping drive adoption across open source and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Own PMM product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with Percona’s overall product vision.
•Partner with customers and the open source community to understand challenges, validate ideas, and identify opportunities.
•Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape product direction.
•Translate customer problems into clear requirements, prioritize features, and make trade-offs based on value and effort.
•Define success metrics and use telemetry and usage data to guide product decisions throughout discovery to release.
