Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead administration and delivery of major, high-value road and transport infrastructure contracts to meet time, cost, quality, safety, and contractual objectives.
  • •Undertake the role of Superintendent, Contract Administrator, Administrator’s Representative, or Principal’s Representative depending on project/client requirements.
  • •Provide senior contractual and commercial leadership across the full lifecycle from mobilisation through completion and close-out.
  • •Manage and administer complex construction contracts in accordance with contractual requirements, TMR standards, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • •Lead assessment and management of variations, claims, extensions of time, payment claims, contractual notices, and resolve complex contractual/project issues; also coordinate multidisciplinary teams and establish governance, reporting, and contract administration processes.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • •RPEQ registration.
  • •Extensive experience in contract administration and delivery of major road infrastructure projects.
  • •Significant experience acting as a Contract Administrator, Superintendent, Administrator’s Representative, or Principal’s Representative.
  • •Strong knowledge of civil construction and infrastructure delivery, including roads, bridges, pavements, earthworks, drainage and related infrastructure, plus Transport and Main Roads policies and contract procedures.
