Key Responsibilities

  • •Technically lead the team and liaise with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood before design and development.
  • •Design and maintain applications, implementing changes for new requirements while complying with department standards.
  • •Provide hands-on coding support, act as a technical SME, and guide developers on best-practice solution implementation.
  • •Ensure adequate automated testing is in place ahead of User Acceptance Testing and support release to production.
  • •Drive continuous service improvement, including corrective measures and service decommissioning when no longer required.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience implementing data processes for Data Warehouse and production systems.
  • •Strong experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
  • •Proficiency in modern programming languages including Scala and Python.
  • •Experience with engineering tooling such as Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and JIRA.
  • •Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum or Kanban) and engineering practices like CI/CD and automated testing.
