Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide practical employment-law advice on employee offboarding and contentious employment matters across APAC.
  • •Advise on terminations, redundancies, mutual separation agreements, performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievances, and related employment processes.
  • •Assess legal and commercial risks of proposed offboarding strategies and recommend compliant, practical solutions.
  • •Draft and review termination letters, settlement agreements, disciplinary documentation, legal opinions, and consultation materials.
  • •Manage employment disputes, threatened claims, and litigation, working with external counsel where necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified lawyer in an APAC jurisdiction with approximately 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • •Strong practical experience in employment and labour law in at least one APAC jurisdiction.
  • •Demonstrated experience advising on employee terminations, redundancies, mutual separations, disciplinary matters, performance management, grievances, or employment disputes.
  • •Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • •Ability to draft clear, commercially practical legal advice and related employment documents (e.g., termination documentation and settlement agreements).
