Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle support for hedge funds across asset classes from trade date through settlement date.
  • •Perform daily clearing and settlement operations including trade affirmation/confirmation, allocation checks, matching status monitoring, and resolution of unmatched trades.
  • •Ensure correct handling of market-specific settlement rules (cut-offs, holidays, local regulations, T+1/T+2 differences) and maintain a market calendar/controls framework.
  • •Conduct cash and position reconciliation, analyze discrepancies vs clearing agents, troubleshoot breaks, and minimize risks from mismatches.
  • •Manage people activities such as regular 1:1s, performance reviews/feedback, allocate work effectively, and collaborate with onshore teams for migrations and knowledge transfer.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting/Operations teams, with 4+ years of exclusive experience in confirmation, clearing, and settlement, and should be tech-savvy.
  • •Strong knowledge of hedge funds and underlying investments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, repo, and related financial instruments.
  • •Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or a quantitative discipline (master’s is an advantage).
  • •Self-starter who can function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, demanding environment.
  • •Good analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to present to clients and mentor teammates.
