Job Summary

Own probe strategy and silicon learning at wafer test across pre-silicon staging, first-silicon bring-up, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing. Define probe coverage intent, set limits and guard-bands based on silicon behavior, and drive yield, quality, and test-cost outcomes. Collaborate with Design, DFT, DV, Process Integration, Backend Test, and Reliability to create scalable, product-centric probe strategies, including enablement for NPI and technology ramps.
Location: Singapore
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own probe coverage intent by translating design features, device behavior, and process risks into observability, screening mechanisms, trims, and guard-bands.
  • •Define, release, and sustain probe test flows from first silicon through qualification and HVM, meeting coverage objectives without unnecessary test overhead.
  • •Lead probe enablement for NPI and technology ramps by identifying coverage and manufacturability risks early and driving mitigation plans.
  • •Support first-silicon bring-up and perform silicon/device characterization to inform probe limits and screening strategy, correlating results to validate coverage intent.
  • •Drive wafer-level yield learning, bin definitions, failure-mode analysis, and test efficiency improvements; leverage probe/inline/reliability data for yield analysis and decision support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering (hardware/circuits/semiconductor focus), Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in semiconductor devices, wafer test, and product engineering.
  • •Ability to use silicon behavior and characterization data to make informed probe, yield, and coverage decisions.
  • •Experience or strong interest in silicon learning, device behavior, yield mechanisms, DFT intent, or design-to-manufacturing integration.
  • •Strong analytical skills for structured root-cause analysis and effective communication across global, cross-functional teams.
