Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project-level initiatives for structural and electrical thin-film processes, especially dielectric (low/high‑k) and carbon-based films.
  • •Execute complex experiments and support integration to deliver measurable results for the site/department.
  • •Support technology transfer and ramp-up activities and participate in multi-functional problem-solving for process challenges.
  • •Maintain thorough records and produce comprehensive technical reports, contributing to guidelines, SOPs, and knowledge management systems.
  • •Mentor earlier-career engineers and support continuous improvement and optimization of existing processes, including AI-enabled enhancements within scope.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD with at least 8 years, or Master’s with at least 11 years, or Bachelor’s with at least 13 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Significant Thin Films R&D/PD experience in NAND, specifically including diffusion and CVD films.
  • •Strong deposition expertise including ALD and CVD (plasma and thermal), with recipe setup, tuning, and fixing.
  • •Proficiency in metrology/characterization using ellipsometry, XRR, SEM, and TEM, plus familiarity with fab metrology tools.
  • •Understanding of integration, defect, and yield improvement methods including RCA, DOE, and SPC, with strong technical communication.
