Job Summary

Build and own Java services/APIs that deliver AI-powered features for Mastercard’s business intelligence roadmap. Develop production-ready AI components in Python, implementing the AI/ML lifecycle from training/tuning and inference through deployment, automation, model versioning, and monitoring. Own delivery across design through deployment, troubleshoot complex production issues across services and AI components, and mentor engineers via technical guidance and code/test/automation reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and own Java services/APIs that deliver AI-powered features in a multi-tier, distributed environment.
•Develop hands-on AI components in Python and productionize them for training/tuning and/or inference workflows.
•Implement and operate AI systems in production, including deployment frameworks, workflow automation, and model versioning/monitoring.
•Own delivery across the lifecycle (design/dev/test/deploy/config/documentation) and automate build/run aspects.
•Troubleshoot complex issues spanning services and AI components; mentor engineers through technical guidance and hands-on reviews.

Key Requirements

•Proven hands-on Python engineering for AI workloads, including production code, tests, packaging, and operationalizing components.
•Hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face for building, tuning, or serving models.
•Strong Java engineering across design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging complex issues.
•Demonstrated testing discipline (unit/integration or other testing) and an operational mindset to deliver scalable, reliable software.
•Hands-on experience with production AI/ML lifecycle elements including model deployment, workflow automation, and monitoring performance over time.
