Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement the strategic technical roadmap for the Defend product team covering defensive security controls, platforms, capabilities, and configurations across security tools.
  • •Translate security strategy and requirements into technical initiatives and backlog-ready engineering work items.
  • •Act as a technical lead for the Defend feature team by prioritizing work, sharing expertise, and maintaining engineering standards and outcomes.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, endpoint, identity, cloud, and SecOps teams to implement and optimize security controls.
  • •Configure, integrate, and continuously tune security tooling and detections to improve coverage and fidelity while aligning with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • •2–3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, detection engineering, threat hunting, or related disciplines.
  • •Hands-on Security Engineer experience across multiple security domains and SecOps functions, including security operations, incident response, detection engineering, threat hunting, and insider threat.
  • •Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models with backlog refinement and sprint execution.
  • •Comfort configuring access controls, tuning detections, integrating telemetry, and supporting detection lifecycles.
