Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance for a utility-scale wind power plant, ensuring work is carried out using prudent utility practices.
  • •Ensure compliance with company/project environmental, health and safety programs, including crew training and safety assessments.
  • •Coordinate outages with the interconnect entity, scheduling coordinator, and trading desk.
  • •Manage crews (staffing, counseling, coaching, training, and corrective actions) and ensure compliance with manufacturers’ requirements.
  • •Prepare annual budgets and monthly profit and loss reporting; manage capital improvement programs and retrofits, and review/approve root cause analyses and internal controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year college degree, technical school certificate, or 5 years of related experience/power industry training.
  • •Demonstrated experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
  • •Ability to climb 80-meter steel towers daily and perform maintenance tasks within physical requirements.
  • •Advanced computer skills using word processing, spreadsheets, email, facility control, management/reporting systems, and computerized diagnostic/troubleshooting tools.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to work around low/medium voltage in adverse weather and solve practical problems with limited standardization.
