Job Summary

Serve as a customer-facing pre-sales Application Engineer for Cadence’s Allegro PCB design tools, supporting enterprise technical campaigns to drive adoption of EDA software used for printed circuit boards. You’ll lead technical discovery, presentations and demonstrations, provide high-touch education and consultation, and partner with Sales plus R&D/Product to influence design wins and the Allegro X platform roadmap, while staying current on PCB design and manufacturing trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trusted technical advisor to key customers, building long-term relationships.
•Lead enterprise pre-sales engagements including technical discovery, solution positioning, presentations, demonstrations, and customer enablement through evaluation and adoption.
•Provide high-touch support, education, and technical consultation for complex PCB design challenges.
•Partner with Sales to influence design wins, expansions, and technology adoption.
•Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to champion customer needs and influence the product roadmap.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in PCB design and layout.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
•Solid understanding of schematic capture and PCB design workflows.
•Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to present and clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
