Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on alternative delivery transportation projects, including mega-projects, across the southern US.
  • •Provide traffic engineering design support across junior, mid, and senior levels, including signing & pavement markings and traffic signals.
  • •Create Traffic CAD designs for signing & marking and traffic signal design.
  • •Apply experience in large design/build or alternative delivery highway transportation projects, including Interstate design and complex interchanges (preferred).
  • •Use Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads tools to support delivery of traffic engineering design work.

Key Requirements

  • •CAD Designers must have a BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •Junior Level Traffic Engineers must have a BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Mid-Level Traffic Engineers must have a BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Senior Level Traffic Engineers / Task Leads must have a BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Preferred: EIT certification or PE license, State DOT experience, and knowledge of AASHTO Green Book and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
