Job Summary

Own and evolve an enterprise Identity and Access Management (IDAM) platform during the migration of legacy on-premises ForgeRock AM to a cloud IAM service. Serve as a hands-on technical SME, delivering authentication/authorisation changes, configuring SSO/MFA/federation, and ensuring secure, resilient, high-performing customer journeys. Collaborate with digital engineering teams and strategic vendor partners to integrate IAM into APIs and applications, monitor reliability, and resolve incidents.

Key Responsibilities

•Support migration of legacy ForgeRock AM to a cloud IAM platform with the Lead IDAM Engineer, vendors, and internal teams.
•Act as senior technical SME during migration, ensuring solutions align to enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.
•Own and deliver IAM changes, enhancements, and releases, escalating risks and dependencies as needed.
•Collaborate with digital squads to integrate IAM into customer journeys, APIs, and applications.
•Manage IAM configurations (SSO, MFA, federation, access policies) and monitor platform health to resolve incidents and improve reliability.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience with IAM/IDAM platforms, ideally including ForgeRock AM and/or PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud.
•Experience migrating or modernising legacy platforms, preferably to cloud-based solutions, owning defined work packages independently.
•Strong understanding of authentication and authorisation technologies including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, MFA, SSO, federation, and passwordless (FIDO2/WebAuthn).
•Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and internal engineering teams, including incident resolution and knowledge transfer.
•Ability to mentor less experienced engineers and raise engineering standards without formal people-management experience.
